  • Granite Countertops Nearby 78641

Granite is still a popular choice for natural stone users, due to its durability and resistance to scratching, staining, and etching. Granite can take a higher heat than other natural stone, but still requires a sealant because there are varying levels of absorbency.

  • Marble Countertops Near Me 78641

Prized for its unparalleled aesthetic beauty—to the point that many overlook its ability to scratch, stain, and etch. However, by simply using cutting boards and proper sealant, these issues can be minimized.

  • Quartz Countertops Nearby 78641

Quartz is a man-made slab created with ground quartz bound with polymers. More predictable in color and pattern, these countertops are non-porous and do not require the maintenance that natural stone requires. They are incredibly stain resistant and durable; susceptible only to extreme heat.

  • Quartzite Countertops Near Me 78641

Rarer and harder to mine than Granite, Quartzite offers the more feathery veins reminiscent of Marble, but is harder and less porous. Often requiring a specialized sealant, Quartzite make a beautiful countertop.

Countertop Process

  • Let the fun begin! We will send a Granite Radiance estimator out to assess out your project needs. Once we have a good idea of what you are looking for, we will get some preliminary measurements. Often times, after a quick call to our design team, we can give you an estimate before we leave.

  • Once you are ready, GRTX will have you come out for a visit to our Leander showroom to make stone selections and finalize your order.

  • Whether we are demoing, or you are getting new countertops, we always come out to finalize all of the measurements before we start cutting your stone.

  • This is when your stone gets cut and the edges polished. This process normally takes between 2 to 4 days for production. The production time will vary based on the size and scope of the project.

  • Approximately 5 days after your project begins, we will begin installing your new stone. The installation is normally between 1 to 2 days, depending on size and complexity of your remodel.

  • Upon completion of your remodel, we will clean up and take a couple final photos of your remodeled space. Everyone loves a good before and after photo to show off to friends and family.
